304 Stainless for Non-Potable and Mechanical Systems.

Mayer 304 tubes give you a reliable, cost-efficient option for non-potable systems where 316L isn’t required. Made from Austenitic 304 Stainless steel EN 1.4301 conforms to DIN EN 10088, fabricated to DIN EN 10312 and in accordance with WRAS certificate 2307003, the range is supplied in straight 5.8 m lengths from 15–325 mm. Each tube is clearly marked 304 with red identification for easy recognition on site.

Mayer 304 connects using V-press fittings up to 108mm and roll groove up to 325mm, with seal options available to match the application. Install is fast and low-risk: no flame, no hot-works permits, and systems don’t need to be fully drained to make joints. It’s a lighter, cleaner, more efficient way to build non-potable and mechanical services.

Mayer 304 is well suited to:
·       Chilled and heating water
·       Cooling and process water
·       Condenser water
·       Rainwater harvesting
·       Compressed air
·       Industrial and chemical dosing systems

When the spec doesn’t call for 316L, Mayer 304 delivers a high-quality, practical alternative.

Key Features

High-Grade Stainless Steel

Cost-effective Austentic 304 Stainless steel designed for reliable performance in non-potable and mechanical systems.

• Smooth bore supports efficient system flow.
• Durable stainless steel for mechanical services applications.
• Cost-effective alternative where 316L isn’t required.

Suitable for chilled and heating water, condenser water, compressed air, rainwater harvesting and process water systems.

Leak Path and Crimp Indicator

A jointing system designed for installers.

Leak Path: Any unpressed joint leaks at test stage, making misses easy to spot.
Crimp indicator: A cellophane press indicator provides quick visual confirmation in real install conditions.

Available in sizes 15mm - 54mm.

It’s faster, safer, and cuts out the costly rework associated with welded or threaded systems.

V-Press Profile

Consistent, reliable sealing, press after press.

Mayer fittings use a V-press profile with premium EPDM O-rings for proven performance across a wide range of applications.

With a larger press area than standard M-press systems, the V-press profile encapsulates the O-ring from both sides, delivering a stronger, more durable seal.

Clear Markings & Full Traceability

All pipe and fittings are clearly marked with:

• Material grade (SS304)
• Pressure & temperature ratings
• Dimensions
• Certification marks
• Batch traceability
